Happy New Year!
Four things we learned in 2014:
- Don't challenge the sign maker on campus.
- Upon arrival, our firefighters are well protected.
- There is no spellcheck for signage.
- We all feel safer knowing we have options in the event of earthquake or burning eyes, and we have many exits away from campus if we need to flee, either quickly or via scenic route.
Four things we're thankful for:
- Privileged access to blue emergency help phones.
- Former students, for being so very generous ... despite the new type of student lounge we gave them this year.
- Warnings when you could walk right into a disease around here.
- Restrooms for people of all shapes and sizes.
Four happy moments:
- We celebrated the 21st anniversary of our official campus map, and although a scrooge tried to ruin the fun, we persevered.
- Re-sign-cling saved outdated signs from our landfills.
- Individuals who give up all friends and family to help advance science.
- Our hospital helped a disoriented man in severe visual distress.
